| Best Place to Buy a Clod
Wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to buy a Clod. I've called several local hobby shops, but none carry Clods. One mentioned that Clods are no longer made by Tamiya, is this true? Anyways, where is a good place to buy? Thanks in advance, Spilly |

Check out good old eBay for them. Do all sorts of different searches to get the most results: "clod", "Tamiya clod", "clodbuster", "clod buster", "clodzilla", "clod crawler".....the list goes on and on. You can get a stock one for under $150, and then buy or build your own custom chassis for crawling, racing, bashing, whatever you want. I don't think Tamiya has discontinued the o.g. Clod, but their mechanically identical "Super Clodbuster" is definitately out there. If you don't like the idea of a used truck, check www.towerhobbies.com , I think they have both versions brand new. |

Your sources couldnt be more wrong. The Clod Buster and Super Clod Buster are available. Tower is just one source. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...mp;FVPROFIL=++ Ebay always has em too. You could buy an aftermarket chassis and start your build from there. www.rcguy.com www.thundertechracing.com http://www.utrcrc.com/products.html You can buy just the axles here, new or used and build a chassis or use one of the above aftermarket chassis http://members.aol.com/clodjunkyard/junkyard.htm http://www.thundertechracing.com/catalog.htm http://rc4wd.com/shop/index.php?cPath=1_4 |

Um.....Grizzly4x4, I'm guessing you were referring to Spilly about his sources. I'm not positive, but I think mine were okay.... |

That makes sense. I'm sure the guy I spoke to was refering to the original Clod and didn't let me know about the new version. Thanks Dabid & Grizzly |

I got one for sale that is almost ready to go. Just needs a couple small things, but it is a rockcrawler, not a speed demon. Dima |
