I have one and it seems to do well. I have nothing to compare it to though. It is a solid chassis and has no quirks to speak of. I think it is pricey but worth it if you have the means.

I love the Gecko Pro. If you ad up all of the stuff it comes with, it really isn't that expensive ;)

I did well in a bunch of comps with my old Gecko, they do work really well.

Jason, Do u know if the 60/40 kits still come with 8t pinions? I think it was for a limited time...

Also, did Rcguy send u extra stuff in the kit because he knew it was you or does the kit normally come with all that stuff?

Thanks

The Gecko Pro comes with everything shown here, as per their website.

It looks like you had to order before August 1st to get the pinions.

But it says above that picture, "Sale extended to december 31st" wtf???

I really wish that website was more clear. And the only reason I'm planning on buying the 60/40 kit is because of your write-up, Jason.

If they were more clear on their website I guarantee they would get loads more customers.

As a newbie, If it weren't for your write up, I would've passed over the 60/40 if i had seen it on their website first, simply because there is a lack of information and pictures.

Thanks for the help man.

Pretty dang sure it means he'll include the 8 tooth pinions until December 31st.

Sale might not have been the best word, offer might have been better.

Could be wrong though.

You should email him, it's good to build a relationship with people.

Honestly, If they could get pictures as good as yours on their website to show what actually comes with the kit, it would make it WAY more appealing.

I've got a Gecko II and it's great. But I don't think I would buy one again. I need a servo mount and they won't sell one. Have to buy another steering kit. Or build one they say after waiting a week for a reply. So if you need anything in the future for a Gecko, I guess your screwed for company support!

I'm going to try a red bull or whatever they are pretty soon. Looks like you can buy parts down to a spare link from them.

Make your own servo mount, it's pretty easy.

I know, just don't have time. If I could have just bought one, the kid and I would have two trucks running. Instead I'll have to make a mount this weekend to finish.

Should service what you sell!
