| TCS NN Chassis
I looked on TCS' website last night and found that the chassis skids are no longer available. You can still get the side plates and spacers but no bottom skid. Is this the end of the NN era? This chassis is still dominating but is out of production. I was hoping to get my hands on a new one before they were gone. I guess its back to the old drawing board.

Yea i was going to go with a NN chassis myself too, until i found out they were pretty much dead. I found a nice chassis on ebay though for about half the price of the NN. Its a shame though, i REALLY liked the simple design of the NN. Simple but VERY effective.

i agree simple and effective....i threw my old CFNN together while my tuber is getting fixed and i forgot how much i loved this chassis....adapted to 2.2 so i had to make a skid anyway.

Does delrin slide over rocks better than something like 16 guage stainless?

The only other local super crawler made his own 1" stretched knockoff of the NN out of stainless...sides and skid. Can't say I have a delrin skid to compare it to, but it slides a hell of a lot better than my stock NN aluminum skid. Why not try making your own? | |

I may if I can find a chassis to pattern it off of. I don't want to knock off anyones work, but they are not producing them and I don't plan on reselling them. Am I in the wrong?

x2 on selling the skid. def an alternative to now a discontinued winning chassis. i am just now getting ready to get my cfnn setup rolling, and hearing that the nn is being phased out, kinda worries me. i guess we can only hope that something better is in the works. there is alot riding on this chassis, as i have a twin mm'ed & outrunnered stick to whoop on. viva nn!!!
