Clodzilla's are great for Bashing. Just keep the trucklight, else you will snap stuff when you jump it.

i have a zilla 3 and for the bashing and jumping i do it works fine. it has sway bars so it doesnt flex very good. i wouldnt leave your lower links mounted there. i have my upper and lower mounted on the inside of the axle.

it looks like your upper links are to long and your axles are slightly at an angle. both of my links are mounted just inside the C part of the axle. where the support is and below it.

Them links are great, m not into pulling altough it is fun to watch. I want to just make this a clod i can take anywhere and have fun. I have heavy duty shocks from an old 1/8 buggy think it was. I am using parts to get it together that i had laying around. After i see what i can build and see if i like this chassis i will go from there. I did move the links and the gear box is still tilting up and im pretty sure these are the links that came with the truck . |

Ohh noooo!lol, Well pulling with that truck wouldnt work too well. pullers are an entirely different truck. I was thinking more along the line of Monster truck racing with that. Its pretty huge! I sponsor 6 guys who do just that!. here are some of thier trucks. |

Ohh and you might enjoy this. About a week ago one of my friends went to competition in downstate Illinois. He had never been in a comp. ever and decided to go. believe it or not he won the freestyle competiton even though he started out really badly. he did two 360 flips in a row and huge jump which pushed him through to the win. here is a Vid of that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxUD0bEYTE8&fmt=18 |

Wowthose are sweet trucks. And racing is an option im interested in. I used to race 1/8 mt's here and did fairly well for few yrs. But now im only electric so racing is very much an option. Them chassis are sweet too on them trucks. One idea i had with this truck was to take it and race it here locally. Not sure about this chassis, but i will try it out. Ty for the pics and the video was really nice to. Sparks my interest for sure |

Cool. They are great trucks and its the Clod gears that make them awsome. CPE I believe is a vendor here and he sells all kinds of Clod monster truck gear. or you can go to his website. there are a few other vendors as well who do up some nice stuff. http://www.crawfordperformanceengine...x.php?cPath=51 |

i had that chassis when i first got into crawling. i stretched it a lil bit and cut the end off the frame rails like an inch past the lower hoops to allow for articulation. it worked ok for a while then upgraded to a more crawler friendly chassis. welcome to one of the biggest addictions ever!
