Its funny. I cant even count the number of times Ive beaten that body in a comp. Lets see, first it was the tot then it was the 2.2 now the clod. Thats friggin sweet. Gotta be one of the most recognized bodies in the crawling scene. You know Im gonna rib you til you get rid of that pos. Truck looks good. Sunday will be cool to see the actual difference in the tires. My cut vs. your uncut. Ill let you drive the stick for a while. If your junk will hold together. Sean |

Sean doesn't know how to take pictures...even though he does have a digi cam and nice cool new computer, he's a computer n00b. I'll snag some pictures of his tires tomorrow morning. I know my stock RR tires suck arse... might just pick up my Pro-Line rubber tomorrow after playing and give the 'ol Imex's the re-tread treatment.

Mashers do work better than the Moabs.... but that is in stock form at their normal size. Sean has had decent/good results with the transplanting of Masher 2K tread onto his 2.2 RR...... Although for Nationals we'll have Moab XL tread transplanted to the skin of the RR's.

The RR's in stock form suck compared to even the mildly re-treaded RR's on Hacksters 2.2 Clod. I saw a bit of this today: While Hacksters climbed just about everything, even with his battery issues. The re-treaded RR's with Masher 2K tread blocks make a huge improvement. Can't wait to see what hapens when the two rigs get the Moab XL tread re-tread setup. |

Very cool. Are you guys using a wire wheel attachment to remove the RR knobs?

Wire wheel? How about some clippers, dremel with sanding drum to help smooth out rubber & then lay down your choice of rubber with the help of IC-2000. Very simple. Quote:
It didn't want to touch it due to that scale Chevy being tossed onto the broken junk/doesn't work pile all day I just finished off that 3rd pack a few minutes ago sucka..... still going like the Energizer Bunny
