i like that frame alot, did you build it or buy it? |
Looks pretty sweet. Only thing I would change is to move the lower links to the top bolt in the axle C. That will get the links up out of the way and give you a much more neutral suspension. |
nice build. likey the chassis. even looks like a jeep. |
the chassis is made by me its 3/16th steel rod used a mig to put it together.i also thought about moving the links up to gain more gc. need to get some motors and try to get together can't wait to hit the rocks.working on the body panels as i m wrighting this. |
Nice build. I don't think there's a chance in heck that you're gonna bend your steering.;-) |
i think he means the lower links and yes id move them from the bottom of the axle up to the top where the axle stays screw on |
Nice, I like how you cut the back tyre, tell us how that works on the rocks. "thumbsup" |
yeah i moved the lower links up and due use it that way i will have to redue the links so that will have to wait till i get the bugs out.And as far as the back tire goes DON'T EVER CUT THAT MUCH OFF they get real soft and don't work worth a s#@t thats why i used them to mock it up .Hope to have some up dates later this week. thanks for looking"thumbsup" |
Well i got a little more done tell me what ya think and be easy on me this is my first build.I got my inner supports welded that will hold my esc and receiver body panels made shocks mounted so hopefully i can get my electronics wired and start hitting the rocks soon , on to the pics http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...j/IMG00111.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...j/IMG00113.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...j/IMG00117.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...j/IMG00118.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...j/IMG00120.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...j/IMG00121.jpghttp://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...j/IMG00125.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...j/IMG00127.jpg let me know if you see any thing i should do,thanks for lookingand all the great info every one has giving me on this site |
Great looking rig you got there, other than the lower arms needing to be being relocated above like everyone else mentioned. I really likes the look of the rig, you be willing to make another? |
That thing is a beast, I love it. Nice work. "thumbsup" |
Great work for a first timer:shock: , the green looks killer, you are running a rx pack on your axles and stick in the center of the chassis , right? anyways great build man"thumbsup" |
