Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life Chassis on this thing is an old ESP (its all old but yeah) with solid frame rails that I milled. C channel rails were bending regularly at the monster truck shows. It also has a milled lower plate, my machined links, servo mount, and upper and lower shock mounts. Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life Badass man, love seeing the pics of it from its heyday. How does it compare with the 27t and 3s ? I just got an old one running, but with stock silver cans, superrooster, and a 2s. It's pretty quick but more is always better haha I couldn't get any of the videos to play? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but couldn't get nothing. |
Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life Imo I would've kept the body that was on it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life Same here, couldn't get the videos to play. Really liking the Deadbolt body on it, looks perfect! And pretty cool story to see it back then, thanks for sharing. |
Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life |
Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life Still nothing for me, opens them up as if they're an image. Would you say it's faster now than a good nimh and the 13t? |
Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life I was running 10 cells at the time so it is a bit like that, definitely faster than any 6-7 cell nicd. I'll try to get my gopro videos posted on youtube and link them here. |
Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life Took the Clod out on my very rough, very loose track again and ended up with some damage, upgrades coming. anyone still make one piece rear axle shafts/tubes? http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/1...e/img_1833.mov http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/1...e/img_1844.jpg http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/1...e/img_7469.jpg |

Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life NWO 4 Life! :lmao: Good times. Awesome truck. I would have left it as is and built another one personally, but I'm glad to see you using it again. Clods rock! |
Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life Gotta love a retro Clod with a cool history. I recently pulled my old Clod off the shelf and converted it into a crawler. |
Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life thats super cool. I like that you have had the truck for so long. Your making me feel guilty for giving up on my gmade r1 and scx10 first gen lol |
Re: Old Clodbuster getting a new life I think I will be going back to an older body, maybe a blackfoot hard body? |
