Narrowing clod axles? I am building a version of awesome kong using a clod chassis and blackfoot body. I am going to shorten up the wheelbase which is pretty simple but the track width is a little too wide. Is there any way to narrow the axles? I need the tires to just come inside the body. Maybe 3/8 on each side. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ps9jaj1nba.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...psbckjbxy4.png |
Re: Narrowing clod axles? I would try to change the offset on the rims narrowing that axle would be a pain because it would need custom axle shafts but the wheels would be rather easy |
Re: Narrowing clod axles? You might could find someone with these laying around. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axles...axle-kits.html I have some in a box but clod stuff doesn't seem to bring enough money to make it worth digging out. |
Re: Narrowing clod axles? I have some integy aluminum axle tubes that are narrow. I think they are about a inch narrower total. |
