| What do you think of the new paint?
I've been painting the new body, cage, and wheels for my clod. Be honest, tell me what you think. Is the paint on the wheels too much? I still have to paint the bottom of the body black, and the body itself isnt mounted yet, just sitting there. Oh and I have to build a front bumper/stinger as well.

Looks great Adam The paint on the wheels really brings it together I think. I would possibly consider painting the rollcage red, but it still looks great. |

I'm not sure what your asking. Further than what? Going further with the paint job? Tube work? Bashing the rig? I already painted the fender trim and door cladding black, and thats about all the paint i'm going to do. Next thing is to add a front tube bumper and paint it black. I thought about doing a full exo, but to be honest with you, I suck at tube bending. It will definetly get punished in the rocks! | |

I was referring to the cage. I'm sure your going further with beating the rig within an inch of its drivability. Thats a good thing, that is what its all about. I like the rig.

Got the front stinger bumper built. I just have to wrap up a few wiring issues and she will be ready to rock! Oh, and I'll have to trim the body and front bumper so they don't rub the tires.

I bought an RCC sticker the other day. Hurry up and mail it It's 3/16" brake line. If it bends or breaks, i'll fix it. Big deal. Go ahead, ram into it. You'll be sorry! Took it out to crawl a few minutes ago. Bent a link before I even took it out. It bent right where I drilled through it to keep the clamps in place. I have a feeling they all are going to break. I'm going to have to order up some aluminum clamps instead. Otherwise, it did well. Only crawled for a few minutes since the link was bent and it began to snow. :( Last edited by AdamF; 03-12-2005 at 03:29 PM. |
