Why are the tires not mounted up right on the orange one? Were you in too big of a hurry to get pictures |

The mash one is a modified wheely king and the flamed one is a custom built clod based 2.2 . the bead locks on the rims didn't hold the tires very well at all so what i did was glue them to the inside of the rim and just left the beadlocks there for protection and weight. What it also did was narrow my wheel base by 1/2" so now i am a legal 2.2 comp. 12.25" wide and 12" long , who woulda thought ha ha ha

I believe Kamikaze meant that those aluminum axle cases add alot of weight already...and was wondering why you would need any more That's weird on the locks not holding the bead on those tires...I have yet to have a clamping issue on my Axial's with both Moab's or the Losi's. Oh, and we know all about steep rocks here in the US too :-P VIDEO 1 VIDEO 2 Last edited by Offroader5; 10-24-2007 at 07:47 AM. |

Ya i know what he ment was just playin around a little EH !. It does weigh a far amount but it seems to work very well , all the weight is down low too. Ya know i tried all sorts of ways and could not get the beadlocks to work, there not the best style of beadlocks but what i had at the time. But i got to tell you i kinda like the look . here's a couple of links to some of my vids. Great pics and vids . Sadly S.W. ON is alot of farm land and Crawl spots are limited. I'm trying to convince the LHS and a local Contractor to set up a spot with some recycled concrete and rock from some recent side walk repairs. Hopefully it works .

I really like the paint on both!! I've been thinking about doing a MASH truck too but you beat me to it! What colors did you use on the orange one or did you mix your own?
