A little help needed with axles.
 

I just got a set of CR-01 axles 2nd hand. They look to be in good shape, but the gears feel like hell when you just spin the pinion shaft. I opened them up, I can't see anything wrong or out of place (they look good inside too). Is this normal with these axles?
Also, I did not get the outer bearings (the one right behind the pin and hex). Any one know what size that is?

Make sure the pinion gear is shimmed properly, there should be at least 1 possibly 2 shims part #53587. The outer bearing is a 5x10, part #51239. Those are the part numbers right from the Tamiya manual. Hope this helps you out..."thumbsup"
