| does a stock cr-01 have a chance?
I'm really interested in building a Cr-01 with the unimog body. I was wondering if i took it to some comps, built stock, would i have any chance at competition or are there a number of mods that everyone is doing to these trucks. Thank You

um stock, thatd be a nope for me! you can always go to try and have fun drivin! but they center of gravity is way too high to comp IMO you can always do some mods and make it crawl a lot better! and add a dig or make one, id like to see a coil sprung compo crawler! go for it! |

You might look into doing a scale with one.

You've got a chance in a scale comp, but not in a 2.2 comp. I comp mine regularly. Its in a basically stock configuration with some tweaks and tuning and it does very well. |

| Stock? AAHHH Nope
Stock nope wont crawler over crap. Change the pistons and shock oil. 2) Replace the driveshafts with traxxas 5550 # PN 3) make a steering link for over the top of the steering knuckle and a drag link from servo to driverside 4) move the rear links 5) ADD LOTS OF WEIGHT TO THE RIMS and cut the crap out of foams. Mine is actually very fun to drive. I have a Rooster 55 combo and 4200 nimh battery.
