| Wife's TLT Finished!
So my wife said a while back "why don't you make me a crawler?" I told her I would if she wanted one. I was pretty stoked about it..... So I was at the LHS and saw a post on the for sale board. "Scale TLT for sale. I called the guy and picked it up for the wife. BTW it wasn't a scaler.... TLT axles with the Tracer chassis and a jeep body on it. But none the less something to make a simple crawler for her. So I took the old Axial beadlocs and polished them up for the build and put some Moabs on them. Added a Novak Rooster Crawler combo a DX2.0, and a Venom 3000mah stick pack to it. Then she said "I wan't a pink and black body", what kind I asked? "A bug body!" No prob I told her. Picked it up, gave it some paint and BAM! It's ready! It's not a comp crawler but does pretty well for what it is. It kinda shocked me.....So I pulled her to the side one afternoon to show her the finished crawler and paint and to show her how to control it. (Keep in mind I have a "Man room" that I do all my RC stuff in that she doesn't come in so she never watched any of the build) She gives me this look with a grin and says "You really built that for me? I was just joking about you doing that! I didn't want one babe. I'm sorry." So can I just tell you guys that I was POed just a little. So now I have a TLT that will sit on the shelf and look good I guess:-( Any who, here are the finished picts. What do you think? Last edited by TattooKenny; 05-21-2008 at 01:56 AM. How are you going to keep those axial wheels on a TLT axle. I finally gave up trying to use them.
