| game of inches
i noticed the 3mm hardware holding my links to the chassis was getting bent (and not in a good way) so i decided to move the links to the 4mm bolts holding the chassis together (Savage motor mount braces) and that shrunk my WB by about 3/8 inch. yeah, big deal, right? actually, yes. with just this minor wheelbase tweak, the GC raised 1/4 inch and the breakover angle is so much better that the skidplate hardly touches anymore. just sayin', keep tweaking, you never know when you'll hit the magic combo. next is a set of Tobee Craft 24mm wideners. |

look again. that brushless motor weighs less than your receiver, and each wheel has 3oz of lead wrapped around it. i have to do something really stupid to get it to tip over. with the wideners, it should tolerate even my worst stupidity.

it's stick-on wheel weights for 1:1 cars, just peel, wrap around the rim & stick on. a 3oz strip is an RCH short of wrapping all the way around a 2.2 rim, so you'll have to hammer it a little.
