Default only on a tamiya

on the TLT, the lower ball diff slips like CRAZY, tight as possible still will hardly moves the truck. Any advice? should i just JB the entire ball clutch piece together? Thanks alot! Ive got pics and specs of the fresh TLT-10, just wanna take her for virgine run and get some good pics.

Yeah, either run traxxas slipper pegs for non permanent anti-slip or JB weld it. I JB welded it after one run.

odd I never had a prolb for the short ( 1 run) time I had the stock tranny installed. Maybe a thrust washer is backwards?? Either way for now Id say do as PWT says. Dont need a center diff on the dinky thing.

The only permanent fix while keeping the TLT tranny is to drill and cut to put screws through it. If you are gonna go through the trouble of taking the whole thing apart you might as well do it right and for good.

lol i took my stock tlt out ... all the diffs were open and literally in 2 minutes i was taking the thing apart and locked all the diffs with jb weld

The only thing I put together on my TLT was the axles. The rest of it is still in the original packages.

yeah, i was impatient!! I had to play with it that moment lol
The diff and other bits are scattered all over my tool caddy now. Dont know what to do with it but throw it out.

lol i saved the whole tranny dogbones and pretty much the stock driveline... jsut incase if she comes in handy

Warn Off Road...

Would you have anything to do w/ the warn that was selling Overland lift kits quite some bit. If thats the case, you are a god among Z-ers.

My suggestion-
just take out the balls, and thrust bearing. take some CA glue and then JB Weld and lock it up. I dont imagine you'll ever need to unlock it.

haha ya that was me, thank you! I just got sick of messin with a truck that didnt have much in it to start with, but like i said i like scale crawlers, so i did what i could.

Pulled it apart, cleaned it out and JBed the S*** out of it. Thanks!

lol all i did to lock my center difff was take the balls out and incase the damn thing in jb weld... lol that stuff works wonders!!!

replaced mine with a TA04 gear diff and locked it with marine epoxy
