Default ARCATT delta 1.9ine

I had to dig pretty deep into the parts box for this one, I really didn't want to try to chop a set of axles to build a 1.9, so I started looking at some wheels...and found some 5 spokes

The Team Losi A-7801 touring car wheel has the right specs to make this work at a -5mm offset, the lhs had another set on the wall, probably for years and years, they measure up right on totally stock axles...close, but right. Holiday build on

-10mm offset is all I got
The hexes for these wheels measure up to 9.4mm and are still offered. I drilled them with 13/64 bit to fit the stubs and had to file the slot to fit the fat Tamiya pin.

Got any action shots? does it work?

I got jammed up on links but think I should have enough room to stuff everything else in 1 7/8" belly clearance and plenty of flex

Very nice build. Which car did you rob the Losi shocks from?

7 15/16 loaded, the wheels camber out on the axle though, it will have to fit tighter to the axle before it sees any ground & pound especially with the mini hex...make it work

2 cell A123 Ion's- isnt that only 6.6 volts? Id be curious to see what your run times look like.

Finally I got a wheelie poppin 20 minutes in with 18/84 gears before the pack went soft, and put back 500mah into the pack, no problem in the voltage area. Maybe a little too perky, I am going to try a 45 turn to smooth it out a little while paint dries

A 20 minute run time doesnt sound too bad. It would get you through any 2.2 comp around here just fine. Going for the bonus gate could be pushing it though. I see mention of paint drying, guess that means youve selected a body?

How long are those shocks from center to center? Ive got a similar build in mind but cant find the right length shocks in my parts bins.

I wound up going back to the 35 turn with a 16 pinion, 45 was too slow. TLT Max Climber body is about the only body that would fit, shocks are 70mm centered no limiters
