The only other things I plan to do is little stuff, like tuning and painting, nothing else major... I know there's no body-off shots, but I'll update this soon with a few after... Hope y'all enjoy... Don't try to convice me to get rid of my TLT's either! -Greg Last edited by grob23; 10-28-2009 at 07:23 PM. |

I finally got around to taking some body-off shots... Here's a link to my FIRST crawlin vid... First timer I'll be ordering RCP Knuckles, flanged bearings (to mod my C's), and Nova's dual stage foams on Monday, so expect another update later next week... Unless the weather lets up and I can get some crawlin' in before then |

That's looking good man! Is there a way to inboard those links? |

Unfortunately, I can't inboard the links (even though I have a skid to do so...) With my dig servo mounted where it is, I have my tranny placed perfectly on the skid in order to clear the front upper link bolt with the servo, and the rear upper link bolt with the motor... it's super close, but the tranny overhangs just enough to not let it go... It's all because I've got a 2.75" skid (same width as the R2D)... I'll get it sorted out eventually... I know there are ways around my dillema, just gotta keep tinkering... Right now, my front uppers are 3 3/36", and my rears are 4 9/16" I'm running the axle truss in the rear, but between the truss and the susp. stay I've got about 1/4" spacers... allowing me to run shorter links (had to use what links I had...) I'm running my uppers mounted to the second hole back on the bottom row on the chassis I spent the afternoon messin with my links... found that I broke a link on my last outing (4 days ago). I'm assuming it happened when my rig decided to bomb off an 8 foot cliff... Needless to say, I'll be ordering lparts to fix my inks Monday... I MADE my links fit inboarded with the tranny where I had it. I had to get after the front lower edge of my tranny with a file, but it all fits now Last edited by grob23; 10-29-2009 at 08:47 PM. |

I'm not saying they'll out-crawl MOA's, or even axials, but they're what I started with... The fact that I'm practically broke, combined with my light throttle finger has let me keep em for a while...

That is the first ShaftD I have seen in a long time . I really had fun designing those chassis . I miss my old ShaftD & DoubleD rigs . |

I wasn't sure about this chassis at first, but I sure am glad I've got it, and that you designed it!
