Default Friend's TLT

My friend Trevor, trevor148 on the boards, came over last night because he wanted me to help him with his TLT. He came over at 7(est) and we stopped at 2 in the morning. It's still not done but all we gotta do is put the rest of the links together, then put steering links on and she'll be ready.

Stats:
Wheelbase- a lil over 12"
Modified stock chassis
Integy 45t motor
Intellispeed forward/reverse ESC
TQ3
Pede tranny
Custom links

On with the pics.

Any questions/comments/concerns?

Looks like your off to a good start! let us know how the 45t lathe motor works out, cause the 55t seems alittle on the tame side, lol

Well from what he said it works pretty good. He had the tlt in its stock form before we started. But I'll let you know how it does with a nice TLT.

actually I'm still in preschool. My parents don't think I'm ready to move on.

Well the tranny is mounted up so high because theres a lip on the tranny where a bolt goes through and you can hack more off the bottom of the chassis. And although it is up so high, he is still able to stand it up on its side, on two wheels, without it flipping over. AND he's using paddles which do not have the same O.D. as any other 2.2 tire.

I am running a 45t lathe right now and it seems to have enough umpf to rip out the rear end on the trial run. Seems to be faster than the 55t but still has plenty of torque.

Yeah we already took care of that

Well this is more of an all around rig, and right now there is snow so he went with paddles. I told him come spring time he should get some Moabs or Swamp Dawgs for all terrain.

We took it out a few minutes ago, and it crawls like h3ll. He has a Integy 45t, 9tooth pinion, and 90 tooth spur. He also has 3000mah packs and we've been out with the same battery for 3 runs about 20-25mins long and the battery just wont crap out. Its also got a lot of power.

Talking sweeeet yea i have a integy 30 turn on tlt

yea my integy 30 turn has some torque but also some speed it has enough speed to where i can ride a wheelie forward or backwords.
i should change my geear ratio its stock if i did i would get less speed and more torque and slowness i am also a noob.

i put bruiser tires on my tlt it rocks
