Not to rag on you dude, but have you really competed at all? if you havent that is fine, but the advise rockwerks is giving you is to HELP you. If you look around, youll see that there isnt one COMP truck that uses the bumpers because they will hang up one everything and kill your approach angle... many guys even shave the lip down on the axle cases just to insure they wont get hung up so imagine what the bumper would do... I mean if you arent doing any comps and this is just for backyard use, then run with it...but if you show up at a comp with some descent rocks and obstacles your going to be wishing you didnt have the bumpers.

Just some contructive criticism

BTW I like the Ferd body on there

you see you missed my point, He stated he wanted a more "competitve" set up which I think he did change too, but if he wants a full extreme comp setup then yes ditch the brush guards, but every TLT dose not need to be a clone of every other one. And I figured that is why he is running the chassis he is. And yes I have comped a few times, my truck dose not have the guards on it. But I did do well with my penguin chassis with axle mounted servos. But then Again I was looking for scale terrain.

If he would have stated he wanted nothing but a pure comp crawler my advise would have been the same, I do not question rockwerks ability or his knowledge. I am just tired of the cookie cutter trucks... sorry for asking and stating my opinion. And just to point out, I never did say rockwerks was wrong ;)
