Default Finally some progress on my new project....

Well its time to share what ive been up to for my new TLT project. Got a couple of pics of just the front end mocked up but its pretty much where i want it. Enjoy!

Just getting started -

Wanted to make the front end fully adjustable.....these are old Integy turnbuckles for a E/Tmaxx that were just laying around -

Just mocking up the Pede tranny -

As you can see, theres little progress.....but i still need some parts so i`ll soon be making a list of parts that i need minus the electronics for right now. Thanx for looking. Any advice is welcomed! Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics lol

cool cool, didn't see it, are you running a panhard bar, and if not you might want to triangulate your links. otherwise you will have unwanted axle movement. good start though.

Looks long... are you going to have the wheelbase at 12.5 of it is just for basing around. I don't do any comps cuz there isn't one around here, but I like to build all my rigs within comp rules, so I have the feel for it when I drive it. Never know a comp might pop up somewhere.

Its just for bashing right now......these were the only links i had laying around.....they are going to be longer then the rears for right now. Its my first TLT build.....so i`m going to experiment a little bit on this one. See i wanted to three link the suspension....how would i run a panhard bar? It would have to be ran 90degrees to the lower links right?

Panhard as I understand is running a link from one side of the axle to the oppsite side in front of the frame. Thus lessen the swaying of the axles.

Smart... easier and more effective than panhard.

Ok got some updated pics, again everything is not set in stone its just all mocked up for now:

Heres how it sits right now.....i might switch the longer links to the back...still not sure yet...also thinking about a droop setup to lower the COG and the WB is right at 13inches -

How the front looks as of right now -

A Clod servo mount plate used to triangulate the upper links in the rear -

Another Clod servo mount for the front axle -
