| Let the stretch begin! (VIDEO ADDED PAGE 3)
I bet you thought it was another TLT-10... I plan to keep the batteries on the chassis, but reverse the motor so the batts will be in the front. I also am going to move the steering to the axle and make longer dogbones. The links are simply mock ups, but they are about the right length, then I will make some threaded rod links with some kind of tubing over the top for rigidity/looks. |

Why make new links? The top ones look like Lunsford(sp) titanium tie rods and the bottom look like stock Losi ones. I would think that the Lunsford rods would be stronger than tube style links.

They are indeed lunsfords, but those are the only two that I have of that length. They are all from my XXX-T, which I would like to get built up again, its fun to go slow, but fast can be fun too.

just finished doing a custom 4 link kit last night myself. Made a night and day difference climbing with a longer wheelbase.

Crawlin, are you just a guy that makes parts for people, or part of a company? Will you be getting pics of these LWB kits and servo kits?

interesting idea for sure. They have lots of power stock though I think. I haven't tried larger tires though.

I haven't been able to try out the 370 and BB's, but it seemed low on power in my opinion... What kind of turn around can we expect on these kits? Months, weeks, etc...? On a note about this project, its currently on hold. I began it at my house in denver, then on the way back to college my truck took a dump on me. Its some kind of spark, vacuum, or timing problem, but I don't want to invest money elsewhere until I get it fixed. |

Hoping to have them available next week sometime. I have been running the truck on just a 5 cell pack and its all the power I want for crawling. Going to try a 1800mah 6 cell pack though next to compare. |

Cool, let me know about price and availability, plus pics would be nice... I found out I have bad compression in one cylinder on my truck, so its gonna be a little expensive in the near future. |

sounds like you might have blown a head gasket. Could be a valve probem as well, but head gasket is my guess. Sorry to hear.
