Default So i have no will power...

Went to look for some masher 2k's just to see who all had em in stock and I bought them...

Comments?

And a question, so the mashers were hella light, so i threw some bbs in there, proble being that they stick to the inside of the tire and dont roll around

So what is everyone using to add some weight?

I've got those same shocks but the springs on it right now are too stiff, they're the blue ones. What springs are you using on yours and what do you think about them?

they are just normal associated truck springs, black front green rear, and the perfect weight. Only issue is they are too small of diameter i was able to make em a lil wider by counter turning them against the twist. I'd prolly go for some losi whites but these were readily available.

Nobody's got an idea with the bbs so far?

I know what you mean about no will power. My LHS got Moabs in and I bought two pair on the spot; 40 bucks that shoulda probably gone towards something more important... like food (or porn DVDs).

I can't remember who it was, but they used wheel balancing weights and stuck 'em around the rim inside the tire. For a photo, search for "9 oz. of the sticky icky" in the Chat forum I believe. There's also a thread on how they are applied in the tires forum somewhere...

huh thats a possibility but i was hoping to have them roll freely so they didnt add to rotational mass, i'll have to mess with them when i have some time

for now they seem fairly evenly distributed

Just drive through some water, once the bb's are all rusty they will move freely I run fishing lead wire around my wheels, bb's are nice but i hate the sound.

Good choice on the mashers, great tire

just put some baby powder in the tires and spin it around, will stick to tire and let bbs roll free, also put a little more in when you add the bbs for baby smooth rolling.

When you drive in a bunch of mud and moss and crap, leave the Mashers facing the correct way. They need to clean themselves.

BBs - baby powder, or even a good squirt of WD40 inside.

Just cleaned Mashers are awesome, they stick to the floor when you try to pick up the truck.

Looking better each time. Those ofna wheels have a ton of offset. I like my mashers, and like them even more backwards.

Best way to clean those tires after use is simple green. Soak all the tires in simple green (spray them down and don't wash it off), when they dry, they will stick together and stick to everything else.

those are duratrax wheels, they had them the other week at the shop and i grabbed em right up.

I'll try em backwards but i really like the way they cleaned themselves today. I'll spray some simple green on em friday to see how they do sat morning

Just because you bought the tires doesnt mean you have no will power, it just means you want more traction. The truck looks great, and even better with those new Mashers on it.

nah, the xj's superior, it doesnt have a tendency to endo backwards

i'm sure it wheels better than you 1:1 though after all it actually moves and doesnt break at the sight of a rock
