| No Name Tuber
Heres my latest project, I thought I would try my hand at a tuber so here are the stats. TLT axles T3 tranny Lathe motor 4" shocks Pede sliders Swamp dogs on Ofna 2.2 rims chopped clod body 3/16 brake line, brazed Im still working on it slowly but my plans are to paint the clod body primer grey and then give it the sponsor sticker treatment. For the chassis I am going to powdercoat it blue and add some diamond plate aluminum in the rear for some pannels. What do you think? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...903/tuber2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ubechassis.jpg |

If you are running a body why would you run a stinger at the top of the grill. Why not at the bottom like most people. That looks silly to me. But the rest looks good.

I agree, loose the stinger. It won't look as good without a grill in the body. Make a nice tube bumper with a stinger.

Triangulation! It may not matter if your joints are super strong, but run some bars across the rectangles in your frame to increase strength.

Thanks, here is some more.. Second pic is the servo mount/top link mount I made. It replaces the stock one and uses one of the top link mount brackets from the tlt kit. Third pic is some diamond plate that I may use on the rear of my chassis where the body doesnt cover. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...903/tuber8.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...servomount.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...amondplate.jpg |
