Im into cheap stuff... My budget will only allow $175 without or with tires and wheels...

so can ya guys help me out here

YES I DID search...
YES I DID look at the TLT-1 to TLT-crawler post
I have NO tools whatsoever... only the nessesary ones for puting it together... i can't make my own links, chassis, or adapter plates...

Pede tranny or similar: $40-50
Tmaxx/Revo links: $32
Lathe motor: $20
Drill and drill bits: $35
Tires + Wheels (used): $25
$162-172 not including the truck itself.

Then you have electronics to worry about (unless you have a radio/ESC already). I say the drill and drill bits, because quite a few people on a budget have modified the stock plates to fit a pede tranny. So that'd probably be your best bet. for a solid truck on a budget.

I sold a losi xxx buggy tranny for 25, you could make it work but you have have to come up with some way to mount sliders, or another type of driveshaft.

THIS HAS ALL BEEN COVERED BEFORE, especially your tranny questions!

If you don't do searches and keep saying "I want cheap" then I will DELETE this thread!

Why don't you just create a wanted thread and ask someone for a RTR kick *** crawler for $50 shipped?

Links= $17.60(Links without ends, I'll just use the tlt links)
lathe=$12-14
Pede=I guess $40-$50, can i get a case for cheap?? the local has all the parts, but together will be $60
Mashers and wheels= I hope $25... they are $20 for a pair at the local(without the wheels)
2 channel reciever(It is a 75Mhz trans)=$25
ESC=Free, I have one...
Servo, airtronics=Free...
Base=$80
Chassis=$20-$65
sooooo together I'm guessing I'm Spending $220 at least.

That sounds like a good idea to me. Get it, build it stock, run it, and then mod it as money comes in.

Masher 2K's will not fit on the stock TLT wheels, so you'd have to get some new 2.2 wheels too.

The TLT comes with a TLT tranny. It's a belt driven setup. Not very good for crawling. (Belt stretches, then slips/melts)

I got choices...
Get the RTR kit for $150 and spend nothing to make it run.
Or get the $80 kit and spend $65(and that includes tires and wheels(Masher))
$80: Base
$14: Lathe
$24: reciever
$25: Tires and wheels (I hope)

Is there a way to mount 6pack strait batteries on a TLT??

I would go option #2. Less money wasted on stuff you won't want/use.

As for battery mounting...velcro and zipties.

EDIT: One of the two TLT's (the red one I think) comes ready to accept stick packs.

If by work, you mean fit size wise, then yes, any standard size servo would work.

Nova, you're questions keep regressing more and more. I'm locking this thread, since you said you've searched, but its becoming more and more apparent you haven't. Searching involves looking at pictures and other build up threads. Take a few days and get some ideas. Scour the for sale area.
