Looks great. Word to the wise though, if you want a little more clearance for your axle, move your lower steering link above the steering knuckles.

Re: Scale TJ (PICS)

what chassis did you use or did you make it all custom?? im doing the exact same scale project but not sure if i should build my own chassis or if there is one to buy thats scaled like this one!

Bigbadwhitey 11-21-2004 04:09 PM

Re: Scale TJ (PICS)

I built It all Custom .U could do like Toyo and Use a Clod Frame. I just added a Skid plate for the center .now I dont get stuck in the tranny anymore.I'll Post some new picks later .

Team-FSU 11-21-2004 04:14 PM

Re: Scale TJ (PICS)

is it possible to do this with the stock tlt-1 tranny?

Bigbadwhitey 11-21-2004 05:13 PM

Re: Scale TJ (PICS)

The Stock TLT tranny Lasted me about 20mins.So..I wouldnt even bother with it.I now Use a Blackfoot trans just because I had it .It works real good With a GD600 reduction on it. I would Go with the Stampede Trans. That seems to be the way.

Team-FSU 11-21-2004 05:15 PM

Re: Scale TJ (PICS)

so what happened to the tlt tran you had? and thx man im going to buy me a pede tranny then!

Bigbadwhitey 11-21-2004 05:22 PM

Team-FSU 11-21-2004 06:12 PM

Re: Scale TJ (PICS)

Re: Scale TJ (PICS)

Tip: to make j-hawgs look like super-swampers, cut a notch between the inner curve of the "J" and the outer straight part.

Re: Scale TJ (PICS)
