Hey, always wanted a crawler, so I finally took the plunge. It has all the basic stuff, locked pede trans, locked axle w/bearings, etc. 12.5ish wheelbase 3" clearance Single narrowed front pedes dyed black, moabs 55t lathe w/12t pinion and 84t spur tr2 maxx shocks stole tq3 and rubi body from the Revo. Hopefully that guy makes those three bodies, I want one. On to the pics, excuse the messyness of the scotch tape, it's temporary. This is in my little backyard course. |

looks like you might want some swamp dawgs... or mashers or something that actually cleans itself out. Looks good though

Thanks. I'll probably be getting m2ks or swamp dawgs in a week or two. How well do Swamp dawgs work for mud and water? I know they clean themselves good. I really like the look of them.

i got basically the same setup with my sw2/rubicon. i have moabs on right now but i had the m2ks for the first few runs and ran it in the mud and water. the seemed to decent but i also had some custom cut swamp dawgs on another one of my rigs and they seemed to grip better in the dirt and muck. i like the swamp dawgs first mud but the m2ks are very versitile and the compound is really soft and sticky (much like a moab). just my $0.02

If you are going to be mainly mudding get the Swamp Dawgs if you want a more all around tire get the M2k or if you want to be prepared you could get both. |

I'm probably going to go with the Dawgs for mud. The moabs cake up too much. They're awesome on the rocks though. JeremyH- The servo is plastidipped, receiver is ballooned, and I put the esc in a perfect sized tupperware box. I cut a rectangle out for the fins so it wont' overheat. |

if you want a truely "watertight" electronics set-up, you should look into an LRP AI runner speedo, they can still work even completely submurged in water...

Yeah, I got one a couple days ago. It seems to work fine so far. The delay kind of sucks, but I can easily get used to it since I will be using it mainly for the trail type driving. I'll put in the tr2 for the rocks.
