| Future TLT Build
I am for sure building up a TLT-1 crawler after I get all my other RC's all fixed and running. I will need some help in this build in what to get. Right now this is what I got: TLT-1 79.95 Integy lathe motor 18.00 DT-1 Frame 60.00 Moped V16R 30.00 Masher 2ks 24.00 (maybe) Proline Ford f150 body 25.00 HPI Sport Shock 2 Set 70-103mm (2) -15.00 each Towerpro 995MG 25.00 I want to go for the scale look. So I will need to stretch it in order to fit the maxx body. Any reccomendations for other parts will be helpful. I know I will need some other small parts. I really want some tires that look like the real thing, so i am not sure about the mashers yet. Thanks in ahead! |

If it were my build, I'd add a better tranny (Stampede is the overwhelming favorite), and drivelines. You will need wheels. I'm guessing you already have a radio. Looks like you are on the right track! |

Yeah an aftermarket tranny will definetly help. There are several builds in the TLT section using the stock TLT side plates modded slightly to use a Stealth or Losi tranny. That it the way to go in my opinion. They are smaller, lighter, and stronger than a Pede tranny. Add a set of Max shafts and yokes and your good to go!
