Default Shock springs

I have been reading that the Losi whites are the springs to have but since they are discontinued I have read lots of various other recomendations but nothing really seems to be a solid 2nd pick. What all do you use and where do you get them?

I hope this is not an attempt to hy jack this thread as it is spring related. Does anyone know of a spring weight chart that list the springs and their respective weights?
Does anyone know the weight of a stock Duratrax spring?

I was running yellow all the way around, until I found a set of white to put up front!!

As far as I know, the whites are not discontinued. The grey springs are. You can get the whites at online hobby stores. I got mine at losipartshouse.com. $2/pr.

Go to Horizon hobby. They are the main distributor for Losi. They had whites last time I placed an order.

Kris found losi whites at the HobbyTown USA here in Co. the other day. Just because "TOWER" don't carry them don't mean they are disco'ed.

Don't get those. I have a set of silvers which are the super softs (softer than the whites) and they feel harder than the losi yellows which are 2.0 lb, so I would guess 2.1 or 2.2 lbs. To hard for the front.

I run associated greens and blues on my J2-TT... I don't know how they compare to losi yellows or whites but they work really well.

I have no idea how soft those actually are, but you can run them if you want. You can run rears or fronts, it doesn't really matter. The rears would work better though if you don't have a treaded body shock because they are longer. You'll just have to run a couple more preload spacers to properly fit the front springs.

Losi parts house id the only place I know of that has the losi whites online. They should eventually get them back in stock. Other than that check your lhs.

Wow... There are other springs out there you know... Like I said I run associated grn and blu on my rig, other guys here locally are running losi yellows, greys and pinks.. Don't be so narrowminded and dead set on one specific setup, go to your lhs and buy a bunch of springs, they're cheap. And try doing some testing, trial and error...
