I just placed an order for a tlt and I want to go ahead and get a set of bearings where is the best place to order a set from. Also has anyone had any experience with the novak crawler system?

are you planning to build it as is?

I stopped runing bearings in the axles, kept damaging them, just run the brass bushings in all axe locations

I am going to build a tube chassis so I will only be using the bearings in the axles. I am going to use the rc4wd r2 transmission so it is already equipped with bearings. How long did you run the bearings before you began having problems with them? Were they sealed?

I ran bushings on my rigs for a while, I hated it. I don't like how it handles. Once I switched to bearings, everything just felt a lot smoother. Still going pretty well too.

Ive never had any issues with bearings. I either seal up my axles with silicone to keep water out, or I keep my rig out of water. Cant let em sit with moisture on em even if they are sealed. I run bearings in just about all my RC's.

You can either search ebay for tlt bearing kits, or I could get a set from my LHS for you if you wanted. A tlt axle bearing kit would run $22 plus your preferred method of shipping. Rubber sealed on the outside bearings, and metal sheilded on the inside would be the kit.
