| I need shocks.
hey guys, I have finished my chassis and I have everything mounted in it, but I need sme shocks. I have mounted the TLT-1 shocks on it temporarily but it is pretty stiff. I want a softer suspension. I have a set of bigbores from my rustler. what do you all recommend as far as brand, oil, and springs? |

I have a set of AE blue aluminum oil shocks from my RC10 truck. They have never been used, but were put on my crawler that I broke down and sold. One pair is 4", the other is 3.5". If interested let me know - $25 shipped I think was the price I was asking a couple of weeks ago.

Hot bodies 4" shocks. They are $16 a pair. As for springs/fluid, I use losi stuff, since i used to race back in the day, I have tons of it lying about the place (also why I am obsessed with 4-40 thread). Anyhoo, I use 25wt oil and white or yellow springs (all losi of course). I try to go soft springs to allow the truck to conform to the rocks. I used to be obsessed with trying to counteract torque roll, but now I am just easier on the throttle. |
