| Spare parts
Ok, I sold my clod tuber and am building a tlt based scaler. What parts should I stock up on? I know I'm probably gonna be breaking driveshafts, but what Tamiya parts do I need to worry about the most? I like to take my crawlers with me camping and want to be prepared for any carnage. Any help would be much appreciated.

doesnt sound like you will keep it stock. pretty much any aftermarket tranny (pede, stealth, etc) you really shouldnt need to stock up on driveshafts because they are so beefy, although, a few extras are probably a good thing. dogbones and inner axle componants are always a must if you take it camping. those usually seem to be the first things to go. spare electronics, should you have any, are probably smart to have. definitely an extra servo, and an extra ESC, battery pack, etc. (i only suggest these because i go camping regularly and often times its wet. |

I would suggest a spare crawler. Murphys Law will prevent you from having every part you break. |

It depends on how you crawl, I have been crawling for over 8 months and have only broken 3 stub axles and 1 ring&pinion. I crawl on some serious terrain. Most important is to know when to let off the throttle |

Well to eliminate as much as possible, get the aluminum knucks from R2J or from TCS and get the Fat-Rock axle c's from SlinkySam. Then I would just stock up on stub axles(blackfoots of course), some extra shafts, and maybe some axle pinions. Maybe a spare servo and horn?

I'm planning on running an R2 tranny, and I usually carry an extra servo and servo gears, so I was basically just worried about the axles. I figured I would need to stock up on steering knuckles, or get metal ones. Thanks for the tips.
