What's a wedge doohicky?

Is that really a 1/4 scale servo?? Can barely find enough room for a standard on mine. LOL

crawl rookie 03-02-2007 04:05 AM

Looks pretty good
Only one thing, Why do u call it BMvii while it isnt a BMVii??
It looks like it but...
Lets see the wedge!!!!"thumbsup"

revin9k 03-02-2007 04:47 AM

ROSS 03-02-2007 11:46 AM

looks good on the outside....

ThinkTank 03-02-2007 12:24 PM

off body pics please!!!! and how did you cram a 1/4 onto a BMV2KO?:?:

CD13 03-02-2007 04:47 PM

I'll sec. that, can't tell nothing with body on.I'm going torsion even though some say It's crap so help a fellow torsion guy with some idea's.The rear lock is a good start, and working on wege but not sure if I need front clearence too.

nitromtcrawler 03-02-2007 05:12 PM

pics are loading while we speak.
the servo is kind of something i made. its got a 1\4 servo motor inside.i cramed it in there and used the cirrus case to cover it all.
i also have a fornt wedge. some people say it messes with your sterring but i havent run into any problems.
PICS ARE UP!!! AND DRAWING ON FIRST POST!!

CD13 03-03-2007 12:10 AM

I can see changing the angle of the steering diff. would hurt the steering and the front pinion really wouldn't hang up so i think I will just space the front higher but I like your rear lock out,can you post a pic of them?

nitromtcrawler 03-03-2007 01:48 AM

sure can ill post some 2morow! its too dark now.

I second dez, those batteries are great! I just picked up two triangle 6 packs for like $42 from cheap battery packs and they fit nicely.

nitromtcrawler 03-04-2007 11:16 AM

Thanks thats what i had in mind. So what do you guys think of the wedge??

CD13 03-05-2007 09:04 PM

It looks great.Have you had any problems side loading? Did you add any weight to the tires? You'll love that batt. pack, got mine a week ago and they are killer.
