Stock TLT axels aren't locked- very easy to do & many way to do it (pernament or semi removable- meaning JB weld or just flipping the pinions around) RPP has killer lockers. if they are used, the former owner might have already locked them. Inside the diff there are three spider gears, take one off the shaft and set in in between the remaining two. Doing this prevents the spider gears from turning and locks the diff. It is reversable if you ever decided to open the diff.

From the TLT to TLT crawler post, the BM2's are what you can flip to lock & later unlock if ya want Flip isn't really the proper term like jmz6 said, take one gear off the post & put it between the other 2 gears- Locked! Cheap. Last edited by ClodNutz; 02-04-2011 at 10:54 PM. |
