I wouldnt use wideners with Masher 2000 tires. It will be too wide and you will get hung on the diff alot.

I love the V-Prime chassis, looks like a great start.

i'll probably get some all-t's later on, but I'm gonna wait for some more reviews. The basic opinion is they are big, but dont get as much traction and the tread chunks up.

Another update. Lathe motors just came today. Got them wired up. Man! what a difference. I was used to using Mag Mayhems with 13t. And the difference is night and day! I still have the 13's but they will get replaced with 9's. I was a whole ton slower. But, Problem Child can crawl way better with them. I took it for a little test spin (still no steering) and drove over everything i could find. Yahoo! Cant wait to get this done.

Well, some parts came in since my last update. I got the steering link (finally have steering), narrowed wheels (thanks rckjeep), Proline CJ8 body (thanks highmark), some more batts, normal size wheel axles, and clear motor covers.

Here are some pics what it will look like when completed.

Any suggestions on how i should paint the body? I was thinking olive drab with white stars on the hood and doors, but that's common. What else could i do.

Well, its done, almost. I got everything and assembled it, but when i drove it, i broke a rod end, so i cant really test it until i get that. I painted the body today and got it mounted. I still have to smooth it out. But thats for another day.
Here are the pics.
