Looks clean! Lots of room on that chassis to mount stuff too.

nice build, I have ran plastic universals for a while now, and never had a problem, hopefully you wont either. Plus I like some plastic somewhere so you dont break metal internals or bind up a motor. Looks like you have a plastic spur so that would probably go first anyway.

What transmission had you been using? I've got a Axial tranny sitting on my workbench but I've been really happy with my old pede with a slipper clutch and rock solid dependability. I'd like to loose the weight and the Axial is so smooth but I hate change a winner.
I like you trible paint design ....

I was using an RC4WD trans but found the gearing to be way too low... Tons of torque but had no wheel speed.. So I switched in the AX10, larger spur and now have the best of both worlds..

The plastic yokes on the axles are not going to be a problem at all as I have a pin all the way thru.. The ones on the trans so far are holding up but I will probably change those to metal yokes in the near future...

Thanks for the info. I've been thinking about the R2 with dig for my rig but I've heard that geared to low a bunch of times now and thats a little discouraging.

Looks good. I love these little AX-10 trannies. I've got one in my 2.2 Hustler running a Crawlmaster from Mr. Holmes. Ever since I installed that tranny,I've been beating on it hard and have yet to see a problem. I've got another AX-10 tranny that I'm getting ready to put through a torture test. I'm glad RCP is now selling the tranny kits, makes it easy to get a great tranny set up.
