| Dilemma - stock or aluminum knuckles
I had a set of high clearance aluminum TLT knuckles on my 2.2 rig. I swapped in a set of TCS clocked Cs. Well, the 2 don't work well together - same turning radius as stock TLT due to the high clearance arms. I didn't want to modify the knuckles so I swapped in my old stock knuckles. Now the turning radius is awesome - the Cs are notched for increasing steering throw. Here's my dilemma: do stock TLT knuckles break to justify new knuckles or should I looking for a set of aluminum knuckles to work with the TCS Cs? |

I would go for the alloy knuckles. The plastic knuckles were the first thing I broke before I had all alloy stuff.

x2 - Alloy/Alum is the way to go, I'm waiting on mine right now! Otherwise, in a bind with the front steering, those plastic knuckles can bend in some terrible ways before you hear a snap! or your wheel just "goes limp" and dangles |

Randy I filed mine out. Mine hit right at the top bolt going through the C. I filed the nut and threaded portion sticking out down and then filed the knuckle just at that spot, radiused it and havent had a problem. Mine turns as far as a CVD does without issue Just for reference every alloy knuckle I have here hits at the same spot on the arm using those C hubs. Some much worst than others. But they are worth it |
