Default PinchFlat's 2.2 '07 Nats tuber

Well now that I'm running 2.2 as well as Super at the '07 Nats this year, I thought I better throw a rig together. I know, I know... why am I not running a J2-TT... well I can't keep them in stock and since they are selling like crazy I can't even set one aside for myself... It both sucks and doesn't at the same time & :-(

Anyway I decided to braze up a 2.2 tube Kaetwo tube inspired. Not perfect but not bad for the 2nd tuber I have ever built. I named it HomeGrown.

NO TIM, JUST LIKE KAETWO, THIS DOESN'T GET YOU OF THE HOOK! This is only a temporary "bandaid" tube chassis until I get the REAL one.

Now I have 2 completely new rigs to get used to before Nationals... What am I, stupid?

Damn!

Once I get my finances squared away, I'm going to have to build (or buy) a tuber, I've got the bug bad, and w/ rigs like this, it just gets worse!

Looks fantastic Pinch, best of luck at the Nat's!

I'm liking the look of it, sleek low and light.

I'm debating a full up tuber rebuild of mine as well. I know there was stuff in that moab video posted last year that my truck wouldn't be able to do. It's just do I want to learn the ropes on a new rig or do I think my score would be better with a crawler I'm used to driving.

the way it should be. You dont see many full frame rigs at 1:1 comps do you?

very nice build. love to see people building their rigs, not buying them.
