Default Yet another XRC - 85% complete…

Had a few minutes on Sunday and figured I would snap a few picture of what I have so far. After I took these I was able to get in the shop later that night and get the wires all soldered where they needed.

All that is left is the front-dig. The pictures you see on its side and on the rocks have all needed electronics installed so shows current ride height and stability.

Any thoughts – likes or dislikes?

Thanks for looking,
Ed

Looks nice. I like the low ride height and that saddle pack on the sides of the sevo is sweet.

Belly was about 3 1/4" or so - don't remember off the top of my head.

Body is one I got used from the For Sale section a while back - just been sitting on my self looking for a use.... Don't remember who it came from been that long...

Waiting on some new knuckles as well - should be here any time..

I would like to see pics of your dig setup once finished. I have an XRC and trying to setup a miniwheeler design. I am having trouble mounting my linkage and servo. I have my rear axle clocked and that could be causing me some trouble.

Motor is a Ultrafly B/12/12 that I got in a deal a while back.... Will see how it works out but can always upgrade later if I need to.

Nothing on the DIG besides the servo mounted and plugged in. Wanted to get the crawler running to at least have a little fun before working on the DIG.

Later,
Ed

Awesome Job! I like how you put the saddle pack on for better balance, it looks very capable.

All but the DIG completed and it runs great. Though now I have some 'life changes' and you should be seeing this in the For Sale by morning.

Crawler ran great after I got the electronics setup... but sad to say off it goes to new home......:-(

Was fun while it lasted.
