Default black bull

black bull
Well I just got a Da Bull chassis from Double J Productions and started to throw around a few ideas for the suspension and came up with something I have not seen anyone try yet, I have a GC1 and liked some things about it and wanted to incorporate some of those things in my new rig, so I went with the rear suspension from the GC1 and a regular style 4 link front, I get absolutely zero axle steer from the front, now I need to get the trans in and some electronics in, trans will be a RC4WD R2D, with a R2J 35T torque war is over motor, and a mamba max and castle BEC and either a 3s lipo or an 8 cell 2/3 1500 elite pack

pics time

why not switch the suspension front to rear so you have less link to tire interference when steering.

probably not and issue for you but..

You could move the horns inside the chassis plats to move the shocks away from the tires a little.

I thought about that, too lazy to make new chassis stays, getting ready to mock up the r2 in it to drill the trans mounting

it was doing real well too, right up to the point where one of the front links broke, I suppose thats what I get for using old links instead of building new ones, it does some of the obstacles that my other comp rigs had problems with

70mm at the front of the chassis and 68mm at the rear, so pretty close, need to mess with spring rate and oil, oh yeah and make new links, might change the front up a little also, and play with weight a little, it'll get there, it real close now

by the way, DJ, got the box, thanks

You might need to get some more triangulation up front or it may not need it from the pics it looks like there is very little
