i'm going to bend the front shock hoops / belly of the cage on money hopefully. i also plan to fix the rear of it with some finess and a rose bud. today when i was trying to get both sides of the top the same some retard in my class (how he got it i dont know) was flexing the main part of the frame in and out. i went off on him and got my shit and went to a diff part of the shop. so hopefully me and my friend grider can get the ass of it looking halfway descent again. its all made out of 1/4" round stock and is being mig welded together. i dont know if i'm going to grind down the joints or not, i probably will but not all the way. stuff is still going to be added and some or biggest part of the joints needed to be fixed or add more of a weld to it. this is my first but definately not my last.

i'm going to put a locked t3 trans in it and a set of locked axial axles. its going to be 1.9 and i dont know what rim/tire configuration yet.

and i just realised that this needs to be moved to the ax10 section. well it doesnt have to since i'd use tlt axles if i could find some. but i'll most likely end up with ax10s. and thats just a simple side view of what its going to look like

the part that i was working on was the top. and from looking at the ones already built i think i'm going to have to start over =[. ehh, i got about 60 foot of the stuff sitting in my shop. but the one posted by rockjeep is the one i got the idea from.

edit***

where can i get a good bender that'll bend 1/4" round stock? and do you guys think i should drop down to 3/16?

Any auto parts store will carry benders, but finding one that will bend solid rod is going to be tough. Look for one that has a tight radius and sometihng to follow the tube around the die. I'd switch to 3/16" brakeline. I made mine out of 3/16" cromoly tubing.
