| The 'Tooth Extractor' version 2.0 Action Photos(56k warning!)
took some shots at my fav crawl spot this morning. this is the first time i really put the bulu 2 to work. toyofast, aside from figuring out my link set-up(the 3 link works great for me)the bulu 2 chassis really performs! no belt slip and low CG allows my rig to negotiate tough sections it wasn't able to do beforehand. the only thing i might try to change is getting my battery pack more towards the front. other than that, this thing rocks! included in the pics is a shot of my rig doing a turtle impression trying to tackle a off camber section. hope you dig the pics! |

it's called lake balboa park in van nuys so-cal. may be a little small for clod rigs, but perfect for TLT's and scale rigs. the slick rock makes for some challenging terrain.

Thats a cool rig. I like it. I used to have a crawl spot like that near my old job but I went by there the other day and it was all fenced off. I hope they don't change the rocks. The playground good have a geatine(I'm sure it's spelled wrong) but don't move the rocks.

cool thing about that spot is that there is around 10 different size and shape slickrock formations all within a few feet of each other. they average from about 8 to 10 feet wide by 10 to 25 feet long. filled with all sorts of cool nooks and crannys. fun stuff.

Some nice action shots wheelie'ing off the top of the rock. Was the truck driven into/out of all those shots?

yeah PWT, no posed shots. the wheelie shots were done with one hand on the camera and the other on the trigger!

Cool pics! Secret Tip: Move your Bulu chassis forward (shorter front links, longer rear links) for a very noticable increase in performance! Ryan |

it barely moves from side to side. the shocks tie it all together. couldn't be happier with the performance!
