sweet lookin rig! I'll be gettin a bmv chassis soon, how did you tilt or rotate the tranny like that? I understand that your front pinion angle is perfect... what about your rear? Have you had any problems with it? |
looking good scuzz, c-ya on sunday."thumbsup" |

actually i've never broken a rear one before.... i've broken the front ones even with the tranny tilted like that... my plan is to make a wedge for the rear axle so it kicks the pinion up on the axle making the pinion angle way better!!! and as far as getting it tilted down i just took my dremel and went to town on the piece of derlin... angled as much as i needed to make the pede tranny fit into it... then just drilled two angled holes to mount the tranny and called it good!"thumbsup" |

well i updated the electronics a little bit today... put the mamba max in with a 55 turn integy brushed motor.... we'll see if i can get the bugs worked out. its kinda snapy right off the get go.. i think i need to gear it down some its kinda speedy! plus my 11.1v lipo's that are on the way should help alot!! |
nice bmv. Ive had mine for 6months or so and i use it as a baseline for all my non torsion rigs to try and beat. cheapest way to go comp. glad to hear youre doing well with it |
Looks great, every time I see one of these it makes me want to buy another set of TLT axles, I keep having to remind myself that I have too many projects already. Once I finish my wife's rig maybe I'll make the switch to a BMV2. |
