Default Del Monte's Top Banana

So I've had a lot of success with my last build (Del Monte's '07 Falcon) but I really wanted to push the limits a little bit. I sat down with Solidworks and that's where it at all started...

Here's the end result

Specs:
Losi Rock Claws
RC4WD beadlocks
RCP CVD's front and rear
Stainless Fatrock C's with RCP's super-max clearance knuckles in the front
RCP's straight axle adapters in the rear
Hitec 5955
AX10 Trans with VF dig
Mamba 25
E-flite Park 400
Castle BEC
DX3R

2 3/4" under the front of the skid, slopes down to 2 1/2" in the rear.
Roof height is 5 3/4"

I came in here to see if you were still using those shocks. I don't see too many of those.

Chassis is pretty tight yo!

Looks good!
I think you should call it the Banana Hammock though.

The DX3R is a HUGE step up from the TQ3 I had been running the last few years I can't believe how much smoother everything is now. It was very easy to set up, even for a Spektrum newbie like myself

The VF dig is incredible, and a lot lighter then I expected. I've been binding the crap out of it, and it shifts every time. (Except when I forget to tighten the shift linkage :-P whoops)

The 5955 Servo rocks, and using the knuckles and C's from RCP, I'm able to get some pretty serious steering.

Last but not least, the Losi rock claws have been sticking like glue to everything. They gave me the traction I needed to pull off a 30 point win on the super-slick river rock in Mt. Baldy

I'll be getting some video in the next day or two. Even you Socal guys who saw the prototype in action are going to be blown away what the final version can do

There are still only two sets of them made. Tom from twisted designs went through a divorce not too long ago, so the shock are understandably on the back burner

That opening looks like it will work as a bottle opener.

Very nice rig.

Very nice, I love the low stance.

How wide are you overall front and rear?

Nice Vid.

I have to be honest though I think you could make a Vertical Smile look good.

Here's a couple quick shots of my dad's Top Banana rig.
I think this one might have turned out even better then mine did

Specs:
Revo shocks with 50/50 internal springs
Pede Trans
Crawlmaster/Mamba max
