Default my tlt update **with pics**

well now that we finally got a digital camera i can show some updates on my truck.

im not sure if i already showed these pics but o well.

i got the other shocks mounted and it is so much better. no more twisting from the tranny. you can also see the custom copper upper link mount i made for it.

does my battery look healthy?

i was out fooling around today. i think my esc is shot. it keeps giving out under the littlest amount of pressure. even just taking off it gives out. either that or my battery isnt giving it enough power cause its shot. it took me a while to get on this rock because of it.

i had to terrorize the cat. hehehe

I'm having a hard time believing a human made that.

Also, if your posts start off with "I'm bored..." then don't waste our time too.

i think he is referring to the "dirtyness" of the build. you could take off the old shock mounts, bolt up the upper link mount fully, etc etc...

customcrawler, i agree that boredom is not a good reason to post up, but this is his build thread man! you could have a little tact with your suggestions, or give constructive crits at least!

although its kinda a hack build, it looks very functional to me. i bet that upper link mount took less time than mine, and works the same. i like the fuel tubing on the links, and i bet the underglow looks cool.

resize or relink those pics please. its hard to navigate with em so big

Looks like you've got some custom bent steering links and a custom bent upper link mount too

Seriously though, I would suggest making that top link mount out of a stronger material, and replace the lower steering link. The stock ones bend way too easily.

Oh, and I am sure different sized tires aren't helping your ESC or tranny.

ok the truck is still in progress. i do plan on cutting the bottom of the chassis off, getting bigger tires(2.2s), replacing all the steering links, making a new set of upper link mounts, and removing the old shock mounts.

Yea, unless you get them out of the way like this.

Bored or not, it got you to look. Furthermore, any thread with pics in never a worthless thread. It may not be your idea of a crawler or a RC, but it shows enginuity and a good thought process. Personally I like trying to figure out how to use regular aroudn the house materials to build with. They are the cheapest way to build.

So many of you are too critical. I guess if we were to look at all your crawlers we would never find a nut loose or a screw broken or even a wire not tied down.
