| Finished SW2! Lots of pics.
Well I am very happy to have FINALLY finished my SW2 TLT. There are some things that need to be changed, like battery location and I need to secure the driveshafts to the axles better. Not to mention get some Moabs and rock rings and a Rock Pleazer body. I am running an old nitro body just for protection. I found some cheap black plastic rings in my garage and decided to spice up the stock wheels and tires a bit. Anyways crawling is lots of fun and not nearly as easy as it looks! Any constructive criticism is appreaciated! All the pics are in my backyard, I made a little rock pile that I will hopefully grow on soon. Sorry pics are kinda blurry. |

Looks like a great rig. Get some moabs and I'm sure it will be a world of difference.

unfortunately wheelbase is like 12.8" :-( I will change that soon enough. Truck Base : Bender Customs SW2 ESC:LRP Bullit Reverse Motor(s):Integy 55t lathe Servo(s):some crappy JR Trans: pede Axles: TLT Tires: crap stock, soon to be MOABS WB: 12.8" Overall Width: 9.8" Diff clearance: 1 1/4" Center Chassis clearance: 3" Overall height: 6.5" w/out body. P.S. thanks a bunch to lowandslow for solving my driveshaft dilema. Last edited by CrawlAZ; 06-10-2006 at 08:15 PM. |

Looks good. It will be alot more capable once you get some better tires on it. Ground clearance will improve too. I'd swap the axles front and rear. That'll put your motor facing forward. Which will keep the weight of it up front. |

ahhh! I thought it looked a little funny compared to the other SW2's, and I thought that could be it. I will swap them sometime when I get around too it. I have reconfigured the electronics already, more spaced out and the wires are more hidden, also mounted the battery on servo.
