home made tuber txt axles r2 trany t maxx shafts goat brushless hitec servos moab xl on axial bead locks tmaxx shocks. but i am looking for a shock that is alittle bit longer.

Nice work! The chassis looks like a Hustler Super only smoother lines. Wish you could hide the battery though. I do not mean to offend, my opinion is only that. Great Work! Ever think of making that chassis to sell?What servo mount do you have? And do you know if they make a behind the axle steering set up for TXT's?"thumbsup"

Do you have close up pics of the servo mounts on the axle as well as the link and shock mounts.

the steel frame was realy heavy so i started an aluminum one today i will try to get some pics tomorrow.

Did you use a spool gun on the aluminum tuber?

no i used a tig welder

so here it is finished. all i need are decals now. i am going on the rocks on fridar so hopefully i will get some pics this time for you guys.

ok so this thing has really bad torque twist and makes it almost imposible to climb..what's the deal? can you all help us out with what we should do on mounting the links and shocks?

now you need a roof"thumbsup"

I ran droop on a txt, with dual 55t and gd-600 reduction. it would torque twist so bad the tire would bind against the frame and break the axle.
the links were 6" on top of the diff case, and 7" on top of the axle housing.

I made a different txt, left it sprung with shorter shocks fully extended. I barely notice the twist. links are mounted in the same location, but are all the same length.

hope that helps a little.

1) I run the links on top of the axle

2) and minimize the flex, personally just dont think you need 180*

3) trangulate the lower links if possible... on the chassis end put them as close together as possible

Those made the biggest difference for me, but I still have bad twisted whenever I get it bound up.

I run savage shocks and really stiffen up the rear pass side spring, but that is a band aid tell i figure this thing out

very nice rig

the shocks are not able to work affectivly due to there placement.
they decreas in ability to work properly at there present possition.
try different angles {further out at axle for more control ]
and thick oil helps to slows movement down.
also a more upright shock has more control to
my txt has some super thick oil in some 1/8 shocks and i have v little t/twist {nb years trying to get it right ]

simply your shocks cant control any thing due to leverage ratios in respect to there possition
