hey guys, i got a problem with my juggy 2, when ever i accelerate hard from a stop, or have the front axle under stress, the ring and pinion slip. is there suposed to be a shim washer in there, or can i put one in? the gears are still in good shape. Thanx Matt'2.5Maxx'Musky |

I don't know of any shim kits that are available for your axles. Are you running bearings or bushings? |

Does the top case flex? If it does this would allow the pinion(one the driveshafts bolt to) to flex out of place. I bet something has either become slightly worn causing it or the axle case(s) are flexing. Check and recheck tightness of screws throughout axle(s).

Is there alot of slop in the bushing around the pinion shaft? If the bushings are really worn, I'd buy some bearings. |

I have the same problem in the rear.. I have new bearings and all... Actually everything is new in there.. With the gear reduction and the torque its getting worse.. It really only happens when I get a tire bound in a tight spot.. I havent taken it apart yet but I am figuring its the top gear area.. I will shim it tight when I put it back together.. I'm wondering if you fixxed it, and where the problem was in your axles.. If you did fix it what was the problem.. BTW I also have Jugg axles with TXT top sections and gears.. Thanks |
