Default new brand servos!!! cheap, has anyone heard good or bad...

here are some websites that i found in RC Driver:
http://www.blue-bird-model.com
http://www.balsapr.com

they sell servos by Blue Bird, one of them that i found is the
BSM-630MG it claims to have 8O 181 oz/in at 4.8v and almost 200 at 6.0 8O volts!!! www.balsapr.com has them listed for... get this... $24.95 8O
ok... im curently running 2 HS-605BB Hitec servos on the front and together they are (supposedly) putting out 192oz/in sooo.... any thoughts on these 630MG's?

It would be a new "Brand" of servo ..........not style. My guess is they are Chinese. Parts may be a problem. At that price I might give them a try.

he's just mad cause I had to pull him up that ledge.

Unfortunately, they don't offer overnight. AHHHHH!

OK I started this post and couldn't stand it anymore. So I rooted thru my servo's I have 3 futaba S3003's one that works, in it went. I drove it a bit but it barely turns the tires. Plus if I push it it will just strip out the gears. Well it was a fix

Anyone tried them yet, me being the brainiac that i am ended up putting a screw that was a little too long into the servo to hold the saver on and ended up thrashing the controler for the servo..... yup... that was one spendy stupid tax... soooo before i go and buy yet another HS605BB has anyone tried these blue bird ones yet? It might be cheaper to keep replacing $25 servos vs. 50 servos. thank god for ebay! :P

I'll let you know today. I just got back to work and they are here waiting to go in. It's a clear case they are wired for Jr/K rx's but it seems to have a futaba spline for the servo arm. I just need to figure out how to plug it into my futaba rx and drive it.

edit: So I have an issue. The case is deeper so the measurements are 40.5mm wide x 20mm tall x 41mm deep for comparsion a hitec 645MG us
41 x 20 x 38mm.

WHERE AM I GOING TO GET 3mm?

I rigged it up will see how it works. I'm going to make some aluminum servo mounts that will have the spacer machined into them. I don't want to modifiy the axle housing because then my Hitec servo's won't wedge in the tightly anymore.

Well I drove it and it seems good. They are pretty strong. I didn't notice to much difference between this one and the Hitec 645MG. We'll see how long they last. I've got a comp on the 16th so well see.

EDIT: I POSTED IN THE RADIO FORUM TONIGHTS RESULTS. CHECK IT OUT. HERE'S A LINK

Blue Bird servo # 2 bit the dust. I won't buy them. Yes they are cheap but killing two in two different runs. Not good.
