Default Nylint 1/6th Wheels Pics

Anyone made some adapters to run the Nylint 1/6th wheels on the TXT axles?
Pics would be great!

All you need is the hexes that conect clod axles to the diff. Direct bolt on.

Hope that helps

Sweet!
Did you have to inlarge the Hex hole on the Nylint wheel? I compare the two and the hex on the axle nut bigger then the Nylint.

I'm not talking about the stock outer hex, the hex that is inside the gear case of the clod. Not sure of the part #, but they come in the ball conecter parts bag. It costs about $12.00.

Is this this the bag that you are talking about ?
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGB72&P=Z

Is there any play there? Do those replace the stock txt hex? or do they go on with the txt hex? I have a set of 1:6th nylint rims/tires that I want to run on my txt. Let me know if this is what I need and I'll order them up.

Also are these splined on the inside like the stock hex?

Thanks.

Since the Nylint wheels were pretty cheap I also went ahead and enlarge a set of the Nylint stock HEX to fit the TXT. It was really simply and quick.

Now that's a crawler! What method did you use to inlarge the 11mm hex on the rim? I'm so scared to take one of these rims and put it in the vice and start taking material off, if it is done wrong the wheel will go up and down when the shaft roatates.

Didn't have time for a lengthy reply..... I had a work related program running, emails going and coming on lotus notes and my personal email, watching my stock prices, perusing RCC all at the same time while trying not to let "big brother" catch me misusing the work computer.......

How are the tires doing for traction?? I just put a set on the my tuber TXT and they fit sweet. I haven't run them yet, so I am just wondering. How much weight works with these stiff tires??

Using the clod parts is the best way to do this right?

http://rc4wd.com/shop/product_info.p...oducts_id=1211

They have just the hexes that are needed for this conversion instead of buying the whole bag of parts.

RD400 i see that there is a washer in the photo of the axle with the clod nut. Does the washer go between the wheel and the nut? I tried to do this setup o my jugg axle and there's just not enough thead to put the nut on. Are the axle stubs on the TXT longer than the stubs on the jugg axle?

And strangely he is the only one of us that doesn't have wheels falling off all the time.

Anyone else notice that the nylint rims rub on the txt hubs? It is wearing a ring into the rims. Any resolution for this? I have not really looked at it because the compound and tread of the nylint tires suck for my area, I like the height though.
