Default CC-01 for grandson

Well i picked up this CC-01 for myself on Saturday and when the grandson saw it he wanted it. What am i going to do say no to a 4 year old, I DONT THINK SO. So now i need to buy another one for me so i can have a fun little ride. Only changes i did was put Losi MRC rims and Rovers tires on it since we both like to run in the rocks and mud. I took off the lower lights since i know they would not last long with him running so moved them up in the rear body for protection. Electronics are basiclly stock except Axial Reciever and Traxxas servo. Enjoyed building this ride for him, now i need to get one for me.

Here are pics

Love the unique paint job! Wish my grandpa had been into that, all he was into was math!

Not sure a 4 year old will take care of that RC like it should be but it's your dime. He would of been better off with a Newbright RC that he could bash on. Either way it was nice of you to do that.

Well the Grandson took it out for the first time after getting it done, tell you what he didn't want to go fast and he didn't want to wreck it, guess he is better than me, i go fast and wreck. LOL

The wheels do match and are awesome on this truck, once i put weight in the front it got better. Only thing i need to do is lock the front end

I have started all my kids into RC at about 4yrs, not with a CC-01 but with a stampede on half throttle. It is the perfect age to start teaching them. Good luck and nice looking rig.

Well the grandson got his first bang up on the rims and he got so mad he didnt want to run it after that. But Papa got it fixed, its helps when you have extra beadlock rings. HEHE

He loves this thing alot. Just want to throw another motor in it to slow it down just dont know which one i can go with.
